Yep, Sitewinder Studios Web Design is no more. Closed up shop last year. I’m spending more time with family and thankfully not paying any more attention to Multnomah County’s bureaucratic requirements for small businesses. Don’t get me started on that.
Thanks to all of our wonderful customers throughout the years. We started the business in 1999 and got to meet some great folks while doing some web design and development, and basically loving the techy/geeky/coding goodness that we were able to work with.
Now that the business is over, I’m not going to put much thought into browser compatibility, or font usage, or web forms. Instead I want to share the things that I love with family and friends. I might even pull my old “NWFlicks.com” website out from under the bed, dust it off, and start doing movie reviews again. My old movie club gang used to go to a movie every weekend, and now I’m lucky if I see a movie every other month. I am the only person who hasn’t seen “Avatar”. Sigh. But I have seen “Alvin and the Chipmunks, the Squeak-quel”. One of these days I’ll actually get to see Cameron’s movie. Definitely needs to be seen in 3D.
I’d like to share bits of news about the family, attempts at writing, my favorite books, local events, and we’ll see how it goes. Thanks for reading.
